Are dragons your favorite part about being a Knight in the world of Druidawn®? Do you want to learn about their history and culture? If you have pet dragons or just a curiosity this class is for you!

The Frozen North starts today!

The Sleeping Guardian has been secretly scouting the world of Druidawn® for worthy Knights to participate in a quest of the upmost importance. Very recently a mysterious amulet has been unearthed by one of his loyal griffins. It was believed to have been lost in the historical Age of Fire era. Legend has it that this amulet is one of great power and can grant the wearer unbridled strength, knowledge and foresight. In the wrong hands this could potentially be cataclysmic.
Due to the nature of the Kysha (ruby sun) amulet, certain humanoids and overlords can never learn of its existence. The Sleeping Guardian has entrusted this knowledge to only three of the overlords, Marina, Uriell and Tibarios.

The chosen few must ensure the safe delivery of the amulet from Botania, across some of the most treacherous of waters, and over snowy waste lands, all the way to overlord Tibarios in the Frozen North. He has the Druid’s Orb and the knowledge to safeguard this powerful amulet forever.

Legends of Druidawn: Pet Adventure (Intelligence)

Knights usually have all the fun!  This time PETS and MOUNTS will adventure!
Camps aren't just for humanoids!  Animals are dropped off at Independence Camp for the ultimate educational experience that illuminates real-world applications of how animals are important side-kicks.  But they will experience more than what the camp promised!
Students may choose to bring a single animal or as many as they would like as long as the animal has a pet or mount sheet that includes attributes.

Knowledge of Greek Mythology will be useful in order to successfully resolve the obstacles the Knights may face (but it is not required).

 Come for an hour of Writer's Club!

Thu Jul 28, 5:30pm - 6:25pm Eastern

This class is for Druidawn students who have already completed the Legends of Druidawn: Beginner class. This class will bring together enthusiastic writers to share and talk about their Druidawn-based stories.

At it's core Druidawn encourages creative writing. For some this is a frequent flow of words that go beyond the homework in Druidawn adventures. Students are invested in this world and write about their characters, animals and the magical Druidawn world around them.

This class gives Druidawn students a place to share their Druidawn-based work and discuss it.

Each writer will be required to post their story at least a week ahead of time. The week gives the students time to read the stories so they will be ready to discuss in class.
Minimum 1 page, maximum 6 pages.

Everyone will need to read the stories in order to prepare for the class discussion.

In class each writer will read a short portion (a few paragraphs) from their story which will be followed by student-led discussion.

The class is limited to 4 students so each student can expect at least 10 minutes of discussion about their own work.

There is no formal teaching involved in this class, it is an opportunity for Druidawn writers to share their work and support one another.

Does your knight ever wish to adventure on their own? No group to consult, no other knight's actions to consider? This is for you! It's a completely different experience!

Legends of Druidawn: Solo Adventure #1 Flex class, no live meetings, adventure at your own pace.

A solo adventure for Knights that have completed the Beginner class.

In this solo adventure the knight will attempt to resolve each situation/obstacle.

Because you are a Knight of Druidawn you have been contacted by the Wizard's Guild for a job of high importance. Druid's Keep, the top secret island off the cost of Desira, has been invaded. Only you can be trusted to save the keep and its secrets.

In this flex adventure the student will be in contact with Melissa, via the Teacher page, 1 to 3 times a week (depending on how quickly the student completes adventure actions and homework). Situations and settings will be described, the student will respond with their actions along with writing assignments that go along with their actions.

Weekly writing assignments will be posted to the classroom and all students will be required to respond in order to converse about the topic of the week in relation to their solo story. Students should finish the weekly assignment by midweek so they can participate in class discussions. This is an important part of the class and I know you love to talk about your characters! This is a bit more intense than the 8 week version but it's fun to Druidawn 4 times in a week!

Hello!
I will be working on my June/July/August schedule.  If you have certain weeks that you would love to see a camp (that is an adventure that starts and concludes in one week, usually meeting 4 times in that week) please let me know what week would be perfect for you.  And, if you have a certain adventure you wish to see on the schedule that week please let me know that too.
Also, general wishes for days of the week, times of day, for the summer months would be good to hear as I come up with my schedule.

Being a Knight of Druidawn is an exciting life, filled with many experiences and adventures...
BUT...
Sometimes you, the real-life person, would like to create new characters, explore new ways of proceeding through adventures!

This is your chance!
Sidekick adventures will require a new character that is not your Knight character.
To prepare for your first sidekick adventure you will need to take this 30 minute class.
Sidekicks will only be used in SIDEKICK ADVENTURES.  They will not go along with your knight on adventures.

The sidekick rules will be discussed, sidekick character creation will be reviewed and we will chat about how sidekicks can enrich your Druidawn experience!
